Special Winter Advisory for Masses & School of Religion at St. Michael January 31st and Feb 1st, 2026

At St. Michael this weekend we will celebrate the normal weekend Mass schedule.
The School of Religion will not meet this weekend.

Parishioners receive a dispensation in light of the snow and unsafe driving conditions
this weekend. If you are unable to safely get to church to attend Mass, you are
dispensed from the obligation.

If you cannot safely attend Mass this weekend we encourage families to:

A. Read the scriptures together from their Bibles or Missals together reflecting on
the word of God.
First Reading: Zephaniah 2:3, 3:12-13
Psalm: 146: 6-10
Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Gospel: Matthew 5:1-12
And/or

B. Watch the Mass online or on TV thru EWTN or watch our recorded Vigil Mass
at our www.saintmichael.cc website clicking on the facebook live link.

C. Pray a Spiritual Communion: My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the
Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I desire to receive You into
my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least
spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite
myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
