SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

“ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The bishop administers the Sacrament of Confirmation each year to youth in the tenth grade and higher who have completed the preparation process. Normally, candidates will have completed eight years of religious education before entering the final preparation for confirmation. The director of religious education should be consulted for special situations.
