PARISH SPECIAL EVENTS

CHURCH DECORATION FOR SPECIAL EVENTS

The purpose of this ministry is to prepare and enhance our church and sanctuary for liturgical events. This ministry makes banners, does remodeling projects for the church and decorates for special events. Meetings are occasional and help is needed prior to liturgical seasons.

OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE

We honor Our Lady every year on December 11 and 12. Our ministry organizes and prepares the various festivities for the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Every year brings different special events and they require parishioners to help organize and execute the event. One example is the parish picnic in the month of October. If you are interested in helping, please call the Parish Office at 770.534.3338.

PRAYER

CURSILLO

This is a lay movement of the Catholic Church that helps those involved focus on how to live their Baptismal call in all of their environments - at home, at work, at play. Cursillo weekends, for men and women, are held twice a year.

DAILY ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration Monday through Friday from 9:30 am through 6:00 pm.  At this time, we ask for a commitment of one day a week for one hour dedicated to this beautiful devotion between 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. No training is required.

ROSARY

We pray the Rosary every day of the week following the 9:00 am Mass.  Stay and pray with us.

The living rosary is prayed three times a year, during Lent, and the months of May and October. Individuals participate as leaders, by praying the prayers of the rosary. This is a beautiful devotion as a family to honor life.

This ministry includes the Traveling Madonna, Rosary Makers, Medjugore prayer/study group, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
